TESTING & IMAGING
Amavita Heart and Vascular Health TM executes the use of latest technological devices such as silver hawk, laser antrectomy, balloon catheter, angioplasty, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), CO2 angiography, and vascade closure device, among others.
Cardiac echocardiogram ° Carotid ultrasound
STRESS TESTING
Testings to measure the heart’s ability to react over stress conditions such as exercise or by intravenous pharmacological stimulations. It involves either exercising by walking on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike or by receiving a drug that simulates the effects of exercising.
Stress Test ° Cardiac Pet
CARDIAC MONITORING
The continuous monitoring of heart activity in order to diagnose cardiac patients with technology involving the use of electrocardiography.
Holter monitor ° Loop monitoring ° Pacemaker management ° Implantable monitor ° Event monitor
Procedures
CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION
The procedure consists of inserting a small tube to improve the blood flow directed to the heart by entering the blood vessels through the groin, arm or neck in order to get into the aorta and into the heart. The doctor threads the tube to your heart and runs various cardiology tests within your heart chambers to look at close-up images. In order to alleviate the pressure of the plaque or fatty material stuck to the walls and/or muscle, the use of minimally invasive technological devices is enforced.
CORONARY REVASCULARIZATION
Coronary artery disease narrows large arteries and limits blood flow to vital organs in the body. The revascularization procedure consists of inserting a stent in the blockage area or performing a bypass in order to open the passage for positive blood flow outcomes. This minimally invasive procedure avoids the need for surgery and the use of general anesthesia.
HEART VALVE REPLACEMENT – REPAIR
Abnormalities presented in the heart valves, walls, and/or muscle affecting regular conditions. A condition that can be either congenital or acquired due to infection, aging, or correlated underlying conditions.
CARDIAC
ANGIOGRAM
When a cardiac catheterization is being performed, the doctor will inject contrast dye through the catheter into the blood vessels and use x-ray images to view blood flow through your heart, arteries, and valves.
